Roof, Gutter and Siding Work We Do

Most calls start with roof repair or a roof inspection, and some turn into roof replacement once we see the decking. We also do storm damage repair, gutters and siding, since water that gets past one usually hurts the others. We're licensed and insured, and the work we do comes with a 10-year labor warranty.

    Roof Replacement

A full tear-off and new roof, with photos of what we find, honest answers on insurance and a clean yard when we leave.

  • Roofer in a tool belt kneeling near the gutter edge, laying replacement asphalt shingles beside a new pipe boot, with spare shingles and a pouch on the roof

    Roof Repair

Leaks, missing shingles and failed flashing fixed at the cause, with photos of the problem and an honest answer on whether a repair will hold.

  • Roof Inspections

We check shingles, flashing, vents and the attic, then walk you through dated photos of what we found, at no charge.

  • Storm Damage Repair

After wind or hail, we check your roof, photograph what the storm did, explain the claim steps and repair the damage once you know where you stand.

  • Gutters

New one-piece gutters, repairs and downspouts set to the right pitch, so roof water ends up away from your foundation instead of beside it.

  • Siding

Cracked, loose or hail-marked siding repaired or replaced, with photos of the damage and plain help understanding what your insurance claim needs.

How a Job Runs, Start to Finish

Most roof jobs follow the same few steps. You'll know what's next at each one.

  1. 1

    Free inspection

We get on the roof, check shingles, flashing, vents and gutters, and look in the attic if you'll let us. You get photos and a plain explanation of what we saw.

  2. 2

Repair or replace, file or not

We tell you whether a repair will hold or the roof is done. If it looks like storm damage, we explain how filing works and what your policy paperwork will ask for.

  3. 3

    Written estimate and scheduling

You get a line-item estimate. If insurance is paying, we work from the approved scope and talk through any items the adjuster missed. We pull the permit when one is needed.

  4. 4

    Work day

Tarps and plant covers go down first. We tear off, check and fix the decking, then install underlayment, flashing, shingles and ridge vent. Most full replacements are a one or two day job.

  5. 5

    Cleanup and walk-through

We haul the debris, sweep for nails and walk the yard with you. You get final photos for your records and your insurer.

A Roofing Company That Explains Things

We're a local roofing company working on homes around Villa Hills. We started doing things this way because so many homeowners told us the same story: a storm, a knock on the door, a big promise about insurance paying for everything, and then a mess. We'd rather show you the roof and let you decide.

Our days are spent on ladders, not in a sales office. When you call, you'll get a straight answer about what we can look at and when. When we're on your roof, we take the photos, and when we're done, we explain what they mean in everyday words.

How We Work When Storm Damage Is on the Table

Insurance is where a lot of homeowners get worried, so we keep it simple. We document, we explain, and we let you and your insurer make the calls that belong to you.

  1. 01

Photos of every problem we find

We take close-up photos of hail hits, lifted tabs, cracked boots and bent flashing. You get them to keep. If you file, those photos give your adjuster a clear starting point.

  2. 02

We say when it isn't storm damage

Some damage is just age. Granules wear off, sealant dries out, nails back up. When that's what we see, we tell you, so you don't pay a deductible and put a claim on your record for nothing.

  3. 03

We explain the process, not run it

We'll walk you through how the process usually goes: filing, the adjuster visit, the scope, the payments. We're not your adjuster and we can't promise what an insurer approves. We can meet the adjuster on your roof and point out what we found.

  4. 04

A written estimate, line by line

Tear-off, underlayment, decking, flashing, vents and cleanup each get their own line. You can hold it up next to the adjuster's scope and see where they match and where they don't.

  5. 05

Your yard protected while we work

We cover plants and set tarps before the old shingles come off. At the end of the day we run a magnet over the lawn and driveway for nails.

What Changes the Price of Roof Work

We don't quote over the phone without seeing the roof, because two homes the same size can need very different work. Here's what actually moves the number. If you've filed, these same items show up on the adjuster's scope.

Your estimate is free and written, with each item listed so you can see what you're paying for. If the decking or something hidden changes the job, we show you photos and talk before we do anything extra.

Roof size and steepness
A bigger roof takes more shingles, more underlayment and more hours. Steep slopes call for harnesses and roof jacks, and the crew moves slower to stay safe up there.
What's under the shingles
Soft or rotted decking has to be replaced before new shingles go on. We often can't know how much until the old roof is off, so we price it per sheet up front.
Layers to tear off
An older home may have two layers of shingles. Removing both costs more in labor and dump fees, but it lets us check the wood and fasten properly.
Flashing, vents and details
Chimneys, skylights, valleys and pipe boots all need careful work. Freeze-and-thaw winters are hard on old flashing, so we usually replace it rather than reuse it.
Materials you choose
Standard architectural shingles, impact-rated shingles and upgraded underlayment all sit at different price points. We'll lay out the options and what each one does for you.
Permits and access
Permit fees, a tight driveway for the dumpster or a long carry from the truck all add a little time and cost.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Will my insurance pay for a new roof?

We can't promise that, and nobody honest can. Your insurer decides based on your policy and what the adjuster finds. What we can do is inspect the roof, photograph the damage and tell you whether it looks like storm damage or normal wear. That helps you decide whether filing makes sense.

Should I call you or my insurer first?

Many homeowners call us first so they know what they're dealing with before they file. A free inspection tells you whether there's damage worth reporting. If there is, you do the reporting yourself. We'll hand over our photos and, if you'd like, be on site the day the adjuster comes out.

Do you pay or waive my deductible?

No. Your deductible is part of your policy and it's yours to pay. Any roofer who offers to cover it is cutting corners somewhere, often on the work itself.

How do I know if a storm damaged my roof?

From the ground you might see shingle pieces in the yard, dented gutters or granules piling up at the downspouts. Hail bruises and lifted shingles are hard to see without getting on the roof. Please don't climb up yourself. A free inspection will tell you what's there.

Is a fix enough, or is my roof due for a new one?

We look at three things: how old the shingles are, how much of the roof took a hit and whether the wood underneath is still solid. A handful of missing shingles or one split pipe boot is usually a quick fix. When shingles crack as you bend them and the granules are gone on every slope, a patch won't last long, and we'll say so plainly. You get photos either way so you can see the reason.

What warranty do you give?

We give a 10-year labor warranty on our work. The shingles and other materials carry their own manufacturer coverage, which we'll explain when you pick a product.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes take one or two days once the materials are delivered. Extra layers, a lot of rotted decking or a steep pitch can add time. Weather can push the start date, and we'll tell you if that happens.

Do you handle gutters and siding after a storm too?

Yes. Hail and wind often dent gutters and crack or loosen siding at the same time they hit the roof. We look at all of it during the inspection so the photos and estimate cover the whole outside of your home.

Find Out What the Storm Actually Did

We'll inspect your roof, take the photos and give you a straight answer about repair, replacement and whether a claim makes sense. For a limited time, you also get $50 off your first service call.
